Hvordan bli en heftig airsoft sniper! - Game-On.no

How to become an awesome airsoft sniper!

To become an airsoft sniper requires a sniper and some training. To become a really good airsoft sniper requires patience, focus, and time. In addition to understanding and knowing how your equipment works and having good technique. You are the safety of your team, taking out opponents without them (hopefully) knowing where you are! The role of a sniper is usually one that is a more experienced player, but that doesn't mean it can't be you! Practice makes perfect!

In this article, you will find our recommended AIRSOFT snipers and tips and tricks. Both for you who are advanced and for you who are a beginner!

Sniper tips and tricks!

  1. Camouflage. You don't want the opponent to see you! Always check your surroundings, but we recommend a ghillie suit if you are out in the woods playing. Just remember when you dress that you have to wear the suit (it can get heavy with a lot of gear) and that it can get quite hot in the summer. All kinds of camouflage can be found here!
  2. Placement. You need to last the longest without being spotted! Even though it's super cool to look like a bush in the forest, finding the right spot is more important. Having a good overview of your surroundings and your team is crucial, in addition to being well-hidden.
  3. Pack light. You want to be light on your feet, so don't carry too much dead weight. For example, you don't always need to bring a sidearm. It tends to get caught in bushes and other things, in addition to being somewhat heavy.
  4. Breathe. When you breathe in and out, you move your body, and this affects how you shoot. Therefore, it's important to be as relaxed as possible. Practice different breathing techniques and find the one that suits you best.

Choose the right airsoft sniper and equipment

We all have different preferences when it comes to what we like, not to mention wallet size! The most important thing will be to look for a sniper that you can upgrade the spring, hop-up, and precision barrel on. There are few that come right out of the box upgraded!

Next, it will be to choose the right weight for the bullets. A weight between 0.40g - 0.46g will be optimal for sniper rifles. Another thing to consider is how powerful the sniper is. Since airsoft clubs and games have rules for fps. For bolt action snipers, this is around 450 - 550 fps in Norway. Sniper BB's can be found here!

For scopes, we recommend that you buy a scope with 4x magnification. Because you want to be able to see as much of the field at once, in addition to seeing where the bullet goes and who you are shooting. Greater magnification than 5x and you will not be able to see where the bullet goes. All our rifle scopes can be found here!

Game-On recommends!

1. Novritch - SSG10 A2 Airsoft Sniper - M160 (2.8 Joule) and Novritch - SSG10 A1 Airsoft Sniper - M160 (2.8 Joule)

First on the list that we recommend is Novritsch's! It's not for no reason! Novritsch is one of the world's most famous airsoft players who has started his own brand! As they write themselves "By players - for players". The two snipers we have showcased here are similar in internals and performance, but the SSG10 A2 is a more advanced, heavy, tactical rifle with a stock with adjustable cheek rest. It's also possible to upgrade them by changing the spring. The rifles then give you around 730 fps (5 joule) with 0.20g BBs!

2. McMillan M40A3 Sniper  - Proline Springer

Number two on the list comes highly recommended! It's a 1/1 scale replica of the reliable and United Marine Corps approved sniper, M40A4 Proline. Great upgrade possibilities and right out of the box it shoots 420 fps!

3. Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-Specs Sniper - Springer

Next up on the list is, of course, a Tokyo Marui! With an upgraded VSR-10 model! It has an fps of 310 which might not be the most powerful, but it's one of the most accurate snipers you can get!

For beginners

If you're new to sniping, we recommend that before you go buying one for several thousand bucks, maybe try a more affordable one first. But just so it's said, it pays off to go up in price on snipers, as they usually shoot more accurately! But as your first sniper, these three work very well!

1. Steyr SSG 69 P2 AIRSOFT Sniper Rifle Springer

This is one of the most popular snipers in this price range! Out of the box, it shoots 310 fps and 0.9 joule with 0.20g BBs. It has a good weight and is balanced, making it a dream to shoot with. In addition, it can be easily upgraded with many options!

2. McMillan M40A3 - AIRSOFT Sniper with Rails

This is a cheaper version of the one we recommended earlier (McMilan M40A3 Sniper - Proline Springer) and it works incredibly well for the price! Reliable, powerful, and durable sniper that is perfect for beginners! Muzzle velocity of 450 fps and 1.9 joule.

3. FN Herstal - SPR A2 Spring Powered AIRSOFT Sniper

Last on the list here is a fully licensed FN Herstal Special Police Rifle sniper rifle airsoft replica! Just the name itself promises something good! This affordable gem comes with a muzzle velocity of 445 fps and 1.83 joule!
