Minimal fouling, consistent shots and superior aerodynamics
H&N is world-renowned for its uncompromising manufacturing quality. Baracuda pellets are made from a specially developed lead alloy and are pre-lubricated at the factory. This gives the pellets the lowest lead fouling on the market, protecting the rifling in your barrel and ensuring a consistent muzzle velocity shot after shot. The pellet’s unique domed shape provides optimal aerodynamics, allowing it to retain its energy exceptionally well in flight and deliver deep penetration in the target.
As these are heavy, large-calibre 30.86-grain projectiles, they require a powerful air rifle—preferably a PCP rifle (pre-charged pneumatic)—to achieve stable flight and their full ballistic performance.

- Bulk purchases: Large-caliber PCP rifles use a lot of ammunition. Buy several boxes at once to ensure you get pellets from the same production batch for maximum consistency at the shooting range!
- Barrel maintenance: To maintain match-grade accuracy over time, you should regularly clean the barrel to remove lead residue using a cleaning rod or bore snake suitable for 6.35mm (.25) caliber.
- Oil and grease: Use a quality oil such as Ballistol universal spray on your cleaning equipment to protect the rifling and prevent wear.
- Safety and targets: Due to the pellet's high weight and impact force, always use a reinforced pellet trap designed for large calibers, as well as approved safety glasses.
Norwegian regulations for large-caliber airgun ammunition (caliber .25)
In accordance with Norwegian firearms regulations and the introduction of the digital firearms register in February 2026, all airguns over 4.5mm (including 6.35mm / .25) are subject to registration requirements in Norway. When purchasing large-caliber airgun pellets from our online store, valid identification and a digital firearms card or police permit must therefore be presented and approved before we can ship the order from our warehouse. The minimum age of 18 is strictly enforced.
