MP40 “Schmeisser” AEG – Authentic and legendary full-metal World War II replica for players and collectors
Are you a passionate airsoft player who loves historical skirmishes, or a dedicated collector looking for an iconic piece of military history? The German MP40 submachine gun – best known as the “Schmeisser” among Allied soldiers – was produced in over 1.1 million units between 1940 and 1945. Now you can get your hands on this incredibly faithful and heavy full-metal airsoft replica, delivering plenty of shooting fun and historical character!
Historical insight: The MP40 was a mechanical masterpiece and the first rifle in the world equipped with a clever folding steel stock. This made the weapon extremely compact and maneuverable, perfectly matching the Wehrmacht’s requirements for the lightning-fast “Blitzkrieg” tactics.Originally intended for armored vehicle crews, it quickly became the favorite weapon of all infantry units, paratroopers, and even submarine crews thanks to its tremendous firepower despite its compact size.
Full metal construction and authentic Bakelite look
This airsoft version weighs a full 3,000 grams, giving you the precise, weighty realism of the original weapon when you hold it in your hands. Just like the real MP40, the body is made of metal, while the grip and handguard are faithfully recreated in durable polymer with a classic brown Bakelite finish. The weight is beautifully balanced between the pistol grip and magazine well, making the submachine gun highly stable when firing.
The replica has also retained the historical support lug and stabilizing band beneath the barrel. On the original, this was used to rest the weapon against the edge of vehicle bodies so that the recoil wouldn’t knock the muzzle back into the shooter’s face.
Durable metal gearbox and adjustable performance
Inside, you’ll find a robust, high-quality, upgradeable metal gearbox. The electric motor is powered by a stick battery (not included; we recommend 8.4V or 9.6V NiMH, or alternatively 7.4V Li-Po), connected via a standard Mini Tamiya connector.
With a muzzle velocity of 110–130 m/s, you’ll have more than enough range on the airsoft field. The weapon features an adjustable hop-up, allowing you to fine-tune the BB’s backspin for maximum accuracy. You can easily switch between Safe, Semi-auto and fully automatic burst/full-auto firing modes using the selector switch.
Useful information about the MP40 AEG:
- Magazine: The magazine is a Low-Cap/Mid-Cap type and holds 50 rounds. It provides a realistic play style and feeds the 6mm BBs completely silently, without rattling.
- Folding stock: The steel skeleton stock folds easily underneath the weapon by pressing the locking button. Perfect when moving through dense woodland or indoors in buildings.
- Battery placement: The battery is easily installed inside the rifle's external body. Make sure to use slim stick batteries for the best fit.
