Expert insight: This match box is specially designed for Wadcutter pellets (flat-headed competition ammunition). Airgun competition shooting requires millimeter precision, and even microscopic damage to the pellet’s rear skirt or flat head can result in an unpredictable trajectory. By isolating each pellet in its own compartment, the box eliminates the risk of transport damage and ensures that the ammunition performs optimally.
Full control and easy counting during your series
The box features a smart, stepped sliding lid that lets you uncover one row of ten pellets at a time. This protects the remaining pellets from dust and accidental spills, while making it incredibly easy to keep track of your shot series. The tray at the bottom has 100 precision-moulded holes arranged in a clear 10x10 pattern, so you don't have to count manually or lose focus during structured training programmes and competitions.
Optimal protection for your competition pellets
To give your pellets the best possible protection, the H&N Match-Box is lined with integrated foam in both the bottom and the lid. This foam gently grips the lead skirt when the box is closed, preventing the pellets from shaking loose or rolling around inside the box during transport.Whether you toss the box into your shooting bag or transport it over uneven ground, the ammunition stays securely fixed until it’s ready to go into the chamber.
Important information about bullet weight and use:
- Optimized weight: The box is best suited for medium-weight Wadcutter bullets. If you use extra-heavy or long bullets, we cannot guarantee that the lid can be closed without pressing against the tip.
- Light bullets: If you use very light or short bullets, they may fit somewhat more loosely in the holes, but the foam insert will still help keep them in place.
- Ready to use: Make sure the foam inserts are kept free of oil and moisture to preserve their protective effect over time.
