Helikon Tex Trooper MK2 jacket!

The new version of the Trooper and the younger sibling of the Blizzard, the Trooper Mk2 from Helikon Tex is a lightweight outdoor jacket with a more practical design and a better-fitting size range. This all-weather hiking jacket allows unrestricted movement thanks to its slightly stretchy main material. It also works well as a tactical jacket, evident from the hook-and-loop panels on the shoulders and its focus on functionality. The well-known and highly valued features of the Trooper and Blizzard jackets return in a modern form with the Trooper Mk2.

MK2 – More comfortable fit

The looser fit makes the Trooper Mk2 an excellent choice as a softshell outer jacket, and on colder days you can add something warmer underneath, such as a NATO sweater, wilderness sweater or Range Hoodie. The main material used is StormStretch®, a lightweight nylon with a touch of elastane, making the jacket comfortable and non-restrictive. It works as a lightweight layer that protects against cold and moisture, helped by the thoughtfully designed stowable hood with a contoured visor.

Well-Placed Pockets

Well-placed pockets are essential. The Trooper Mk2 has them positioned so they don’t interfere with backpack straps and hip belts, making it an excellent choice for outdoor activities and hiking. On the outside, there are two chest-height pockets with organizers, two on the shoulders, and one inside. Designed with its purpose, weight, and quick-drying properties in mind.

SIZE INSTRUCTIONS

We want to make sure that the clothes you buy really fit you – so they can fulfill their purpose properly. Please take a moment of your valuable time to check the measurement guide and the corresponding size chart to avoid mistakes.

To take the correct measurements, find clothes that fit you well and measure them.

Chest

Button up the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge, just below the sleeves.

Waist

Button up the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge at the waist.

Sleeve length

While wearing a shirt you like, measure with one arm at your side, from the shoulder seam and along the arm until you reach the desired length. We recommend that the sleeve should reach the base of your thumb (at the wrist).

For jackets with raglan sleeves, such as Stratus® or Cumulus®, sleeve measurements should be taken from the bottom of the collar down to the sleeve.

Inseam

Button up the pants. Lay the pants flat on a flat surface. Measure the inseam from the crotch, where the front and back seams meet, to the bottom of the leg.

Pants Length

Button up the pants. Lay the pants flat on a flat surface with the outseams along both edges. Be sure to smooth out any wrinkles and excess fabric from the back panel. Measure the distance from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.

Total Length

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the side seams facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Then measure the distance between the top edge and the bottom edge. For the most accurate result, measure along the side seam.

Waist circumference

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the zipper facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Measure the top part of the skirt (the waistline) from one side edge to the opposite side edge. Then double the result to get the waist circumference.

Hip circumference

Lay the skirt that best matches your size flat with the zipper facing upward. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric. Then measure the distance between the opposite sides at the hip area (depending on the skirt’s cut, the hips should be approximately 11–14 cm below the top edge of the skirt). Double the result to get the hip circumference.
