Direct Action Counterweight/Battery Pouch – The ultimate weight balance for helmets and vests
Struggling with your helmet tipping forward when using night vision optics or heavy camera mounts? The Direct Action® Counterweight/Battery Pouch is a premium tactical pouch specifically designed to serve as a counterweight on the back of combat helmets with hook-and-loop panels, while also offering the flexibility to mount directly onto tactical vests and plate carriers.
Store tip: This pouch solves a common problem for operators. By filling it with counterweights or heavy spare batteries at the back of the helmet, you significantly relieve strain on your neck muscles. It’s far more durable and versatile than cheaper universal pouches, thanks to the rugged Cordura fabric and the precise elastic loops inside!
Durable Cordura, smart organization, and dual functionality
The Direct Action Counterweight Pouch is made from genuine 500D Cordura®, ensuring extreme durability in demanding field conditions. The main compartment opens with a sturdy zipper and features integrated elastic organization inside. This makes the pouch ideal for securely storing AA, AAA, or CR123 batteries, external power banks, or dedicated lead weights. Thanks to the smart PALS/MOLLE attachment on the back, it transforms in seconds from a helmet counterweight into a compact gear pouch on hook-and-loop panels, belts, or the back of a plate carrier.
Don’t forget the essential accessories!
To get the most out of your Direct Action® gear pouch, we recommend the following accessories:
- Batteries: Make sure to fill the pouch with the correct spare batteries (f.eks. CR123 or AA) for your flashlights and optical sights.
- Maintenance: To keep the zippers and Cordura fabric in top condition after muddy sessions, we recommend giving them a light clean and dry before storing the pouch in your gear cabinet.
