Helikon-Tex Windrunner Pants – Windpack Nylon – Black
Looking for a feather-light, extremely packable and effective barrier against biting wind, without compromising mobility or weight? The Helikon-Tex Windrunner Pants are advanced overtrousers made from ultralight WindPack® Nylon – tailored to give you instant protection at the shooting range, during tactical operations or on demanding mountain hikes when the storm suddenly rolls in.
Store tip: Windrunner weighs almost nothing and can be compressed so tightly that it disappears into a small pack pocket. It works as the perfect complement between your regular field trousers and heavier softshell models like the Trooper, giving you the fastest and most weight-saving wind protection on the market.
Don't forget the essential accessories!
To create the ultimate and most functional clothing setup for unpredictable weather, we recommend the following accessories:
- Windrunner or Tramontane jacket: Complete the set! Pair the overtrousers with a matching Helikon-Tex windbreaker for complete, ultralight protection from the elements.
- Paracord / Trouser suspenders: The trousers are equipped with dedicated Paracord loops at the waist. These make it easy to rig up thin trouser suspenders when carrying heavy gear in the pockets.
- Technical detergent: To preserve the water-repellent DWR finish over time, the trousers should be washed on a gentle cycle (30°C) with detergent designed for technical synthetic clothing (tech wash), and without fabric softener.
