Li-Ion batteries are highly energy-efficient despite their size. This makes them perfect for airsoft rifles with limited battery space. They don’t have the so-called “memory” effect found in some other types of batteries. This means they can (and should) be charged often without negatively affecting the battery’s performance or lifespan.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your charger can charge Li-Ion batteries!
Note: To avoid shortening the battery’s lifespan, you should charge it often. It self-discharges by around 8% (depending on temperature). It’s important that the battery is not completely discharged or overcharged, as this will damage the battery cells.
