Exact replica of the renowned Colt Peacemaker 1873 revolver – Black/gold finish
Designed by Samuel Colt in 1873. This revolver is also known as the SAA – Single Action Army. It was an incredibly popular revolver in the late 19th century, partly because it used the same ammunition as the best-selling rifle of the time – the Winchester M1873 rifle.
The revolver was available with several different barrel lengths. The shortest version had a barrel length of 12 cm, while the original Peacemaker model this replica is based on has a 19 cm barrel.
There was also a “Buntline Special” model with a barrel as long as 40 cm!
The revolver was popularized in the film industry through the spaghetti westerns made during the 1940s–60s, and was used by, among others, John Wayne.
This replica is particularly well suited for display and is constructed from metal and polymer.
Note. This replica is for display purposes only and cannot fire. The barrel, hammer, and trigger are functional.
