Li-Ion batteries are very energy efficient despite their size. This makes them ideal for airsoft rifles that don't have a lot of battery space. They don't have the so-called "memory effect" that you find in many other types of batteries. This means that they can (and should) be charged frequently and the quality of the battery is not negatively affected.

IMPORTANT: Check that your charger can charge Li-Ion batteries!

Note: To avoid shortening the life of the battery, you should charge it frequently. It self-discharges by around 8% (depending on temperature). It is important that the battery is not completely discharged or overcharged as this will damage the battery cells.
