Ruger SR1911 Competition – Precision and power in a stainless-steel finish
The Ruger SR1911 Competition is a modern and sporty take on the classic 1911 platform. This CO2-powered airsoft pistol delivers a fantastic combination of raw power, heavy blowback, and a look that screams quality. With its stainless-steel finish and skeletonized details, this is the pistol for those who want that little extra in both aesthetics and performance.
Tip from the store: The SR1911 Competition is a “Gas Blowback” (GBB) model. The heavy metal slide kicks back forcefully with every shot, providing one of the most realistic recoil sensations on the market. Since it is powered by CO2, it also performs very well in cooler weather compared with regular Green Gas. We recommend applying a drop of silicone oil to each CO2 cartridge before use to lubricate the seals and ensure that the slide mechanism operates smoothly.
Competition-inspired design and full metal
The SR1911 Competition is built from solid metal, giving it realistic weight and balance. It features several "Custom" details, such as a skeletonized hammer and trigger for a faster response, as well as an extended "beavertail" that ensures a high and stable grip without the slide biting your hand. The stainless finish is extremely durable and gives the pistol an exclusive look that really stands out from the crowd.
Performance and authenticity
The pistol is powered by a standard 12g CO2 cartridge that fits directly into the magazine. This provides incredibly consistent muzzle velocity and a powerful blowback effect. Just like the real SR1911, the slide locks back when the magazine is empty. It also features an adjustable Hop-Up system hidden beneath the slide, allowing you to fine-tune the trajectory for maximum accuracy with 6mm BBs.
