Schofield No.3 CO₂ Air Revolver 4.5 mm BB – Full Metal, Ivory & Nickel

The Schofield No.3 is an iconic full-metal break-top revolver, inspired by one of the most famous revolvers from the American Old West. This version comes with an elegant nickel finish and imitation ivory grips, offering an authentic combination of classic design and modern CO₂ technology.

The revolver fires 4.5 mm BB steel balls and loads in the same way as the original—by breaking open the barrel, which ejects all the cartridges simultaneously. Each BB is inserted into realistic metal cartridges, providing a highly authentic loading and shooting experience.

The CO₂-powered mechanism delivers a muzzle velocity of up to approximately 128 m/s (420 fps), making this revolver well suited for both target practice and plinking.

The Story Behind the Schofield No. 3

The original Schofield No. 3 was developed by Major George W. Schofield in the late 19th century and was adopted by the U.S. Cavalry. The break-action mechanism made it possible to reload quickly – a major advantage for soldiers on horseback. The revolver became especially popular among the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments, also known as the famous Buffalo Soldiers.

How to Prepare the Revolver (12 g CO₂)

Open the grip by loosening the backplate, insert one 12 g CO₂ cartridge, and tighten it with the included tool until the cartridge is pierced. Reattach the grip – the revolver is now ready for loading the cartridges.
